Perfect Sun-Drenched Autumn Day for This Engagement Shoot
Despite the departure of autumn leaves, nature provided ample color and beautiful light for Marlene and Ryan’s engagement photos last Saturday. Even the weather cooperated, bringing warmer temperatures in the 60s. The day brought beautiful lighting, so much so that the word perfect came to mind many times.
I loved Marlene and Ryan’s spontaneity in selecting locations. We photographed at The Cove in Herriman taking advantage of several spots in the area for unique backdrops from golden grassy reeds to the purple-toned mountains.
When leaving our location, we couldn’t help but notice the spectacular glow the eastern mountains picked up from the setting sun. Naturally, we took advantage of the lighting, taking a few quick shots before the elusive moment disappeared (bottom image).
